4-Day Break

• Day 1 – We travel by coach and join our cruise ship, the Rhine Princess, at Remagen. LS
• Day 2 – Rüdesheim and Koblenz (included). We cruise from Remagen to Oberwesel, then by coach along the river to Rüdesheim. Why not visit the Christmas market or join an optional visit to Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Museum and its collection of self-playing musical instruments. We continue by coach to Koblenz, where there’s time to enjoy the lively festive spirit of the market. It’s Captain’s dinner and party night tonight! B,L,D
• Day 3 – Cologne (included). We cruise from Koblenz to exciting Cologne, where we explore the city’s colourful Christmas markets. The festive stalls will be over-flowing with seasonal bargains and gift ideas, with local fare to sample on the way! B,L,D
• Day 4 – We journey by coach from Cologne to Calais, then return home. B

5-Day Break

• Day 1 – We travel by coach and join our cruise ship, the Rhine Princess, at Remagen. LS
• Day 2 – Koblenz (included), Moselle Valley (optional). We cruise to Koblenz. Why not join our optional coach excursion along the Moselle Valley, visiting the riverside village of Alken, where you’ll enjoy winetasting at the popular House of Anton Hammes. We return to Koblenz for some time to enjoy the festive spirit of the Christmas market, before rejoining the ship. B,L,D
• Day 3 – Rüdesheim (included). We cruise to Rüdesheim, home of the quaint Drosselgasse, lined with traditional German bars and shops. Why not visit the Christmas market or join our optional visit to Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Museum, with its superb collection of self-playing musical instruments. We return to the Rhine Princess for tonight’s Captain’s dinner and party night! B,L,D
• Day 4 – Cologne (included). We cruise to charming Cologne, where you can browse the city’s markets, featuring stalls virtually overflowing with seasonal bargains and plenty of ideas for that last-minute Christmas spree! A wide selection of traditional snacks are also available. B,L,D
• Day 5 – We journey by coach from Cologne to Calais, then return home. B

Please note: A packed lunch will be provided during land excursions. At some ports of call, a degree of walking is involved to join your coach. Also, due to limited docking facilities, it may be necessary to dock alongside another ship, to gain shore access.

Accommodation

You’ll stay for three or four nights aboard the MS Rhine Princess.

A firm favourite with Leger customers, the ship’s onboard facilities are located over four decks and include a large lounge bar with a small dance floor around which the daily entertainment takes place.
The facilities include a lounge bar with a small dance floor, around which the daily entertainment takes place. There is also an outside sun deck ideal to view the passing scenery and a small quiet lounge with a library located at the rear of the ship.
The ship also has a restaurant and souvenir shop with small gifts, souvenirs, postcards and Rhine river maps available for sale.
Cabins are located on three decks and all have twin beds, satellite television, telephone, radio, hairdryer and air-conditioning.
