4-Day Break

• Day 1 Travel from your local joining point for a Channel crossing, then onto Germany and Cologne for three nights.
• Day 2 Full day at leisure in Cologne, with a choice of markets to explore. Start at the cathedral, where brightly-decorated booths await you, then onto the old market in front of the town hall. Try the new market square and the aptly-named, Rudolfplatz, afterwards dining in style in one of the many restaurants, and sampling the local Kölsch beer. B
• Day 3 A full-day excursion south to the picturesque Rhine and Moselle Valleys, with optional Rhine cruise and Moselle winetasting. Late afternoon visit to Koblenz, with time to visit the Christmas market. B
• Day 4 Return to the U.K. B

Accommodation

You will stay for three nights at the modern 4-star Jolly Hotel Media Park, in the centre of the city. The walk to the cathedral takes approximately 20 minutes. The hotel has a lift, restaurant, bar and all bedrooms have T.V., hairdryer and air-conditioning.
